Planete Durable® wishes to present with absolute transparency alternative products and guaranty the seriousness of its engagement. Coherent with the ethics of Planete Durable®, tangible measures have been carefully developed.
An Ethical Committee and a Chart (pdf / in French) have been constituted by the organizing team of Planete Durable®. The role of the Committee is to vouch for the social and/or environmental increase in value of exhibited product or service.
We have the honor to keep the same members of the Committee constituted for the 1st edition; it is composed of known experts from associations, referred organizations and NGOs representing the citizens, the consumers and the companies.

An innovative Chart (pdf / in French) has also been established. Its objective is to list the environmental and social criteria allowing Planete Durable®’s team and the Ethical Committee members to evaluate the improvements brought to the exhibited products and services. In this regard, Planete Durable® reserves the right to refuse potential exhibitors whose products don’t have required specifications.
Planete Durable® will continue to adopt, in its conception and communication, an exemplary lead in terms of environmental impact.
For exemple the two first sessions allowed to implement innovative and environmental friendly solutions – examples: floor carpet rental agreement for entrance and animation areas, recyclable carpet for stands and partial cover for the walkways, wooden partitions, exhibitor guide on line only (no printed version), marketing documents printed on FSC labeled paper and fully carbon offset, waste management...

Planete Durable was the first exhibition in France in 2008 calculating the carbon footprint of the entire event (including visitors, exhibitors and organizational ecological impact - Analysis made by our partner Ernst & Young)
